Passport Processing

A passport is an official travel document issued by the Government of Uganda to its citizens, allowing them to travel internationally and proving their identity and nationality. It is issued by the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Steps taken to Apply for a Ugandan Passport:
Start Application
Visit the Uganda Passport Application System portal.
Accept terms and conditions, answer security questions, and fill out the passport application form.
Payment
Print the Payment Advice Form and pay at a designated bank.

Schedule Appointment
Attend Enrollment
Bring required documents:
National ID
Birth Certificate
Payment receipt
Old passport (for renewal)
Biometric data (fingerprints, photo) will be captured.

Replacement (lost/damaged): Police report, statutory declaration, National ID, and payment of replacement fee.
