CARGO HANDLERS

A Cargo Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and storage of goods in warehouses, airports, seaports, or logistics centers. At World High End Gate International Limited, we have numerous opportunities in various industries of our clients that need to be filled in different Countries like Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and many other countries as we are entrusted by our partners to find them the right people for placement. They ensure cargo is handled properly to prevent damage and is transported according to company and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo from trucks, ships, or aircraft
• Sort, stack, and organize goods in designated storage areas
• Inspect cargo for damage, defects, or missing items
• Operate handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors
• Label and document shipments accurately
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
• Assist with inventory control and stock counting
• Secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic education (high school certificate or equivalent is often preferred)
• Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy items
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of safety regulations
• Ability to operate cargo handling equipment (training may be provided)
• Good teamwork and communication skills

Working Conditions

• Work may take place in warehouses, airports, docks, or outdoor environments
• Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting for long periods.
